FAOBMB Travel Awards
Applications will be open until January 31, 2025 Extended to February 7, 2025
We are pleased to announce that the FAOBMB Travel Awards are now open to support participation in the 31st FAOBMB Conference, to be held in Busan, South Korea. Successful applicants may receive up to ₩1,000,000 (Korean Won) to help cover registration fees and travel expenses for attending the FAOBMB Conference 2025. Please note that the Young Scientist Program 2025 (YSP2025) and Travel Awards cannot be awarded concurrently.
If eligible, we encourage you to review the following details and submit your application by 31 January 2025.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for the FAOBMB Travel Awards, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a currently enrolled PhD student or postdoctoral researcher ( <10 years post-PhD)
- Not hold an appointment as a Principal Investigator or Faculty member
- Submit both a registration and an abstract for the conference
- Preferably be based in a developing research community internationally
- Not reside in South Korea
